Downtown Fernandina Beach || Amelia Island || Florida #travel #vacation #explore #florida #island
Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island in Florida is my home away from home. Aside from my home state of Maine, this island is where I have spent the next most amount of time. Yet, each time I visit I find something new to enjoy and explore. The downtown area, sometimes also referred to as Main Street, is packed with restaurants, art galleries, gift shops, and a plethora of history and historical locations. There is always something going on Downtown. From Peg Leg Pete's 40th Birthday Celebration in 2018 to weekly Farmer's Market's and even Pirate and Pajama parties!

GA Road Trip - Stuckie the Mummified Dog, Enigma, Pearson, Nahunta, Folkston | 156 Counties | 4K
#georgia #stuckie #roadtrip
Hey Guys! Another road trip through my home state of Georgia!
I start out the video driving through rush-hour traffic through the heart of downtown Atlanta. Then I show you the next day, starting just east of Tifton, in the small town of Enigma.
Next is the city of Pearson, the county seat of Atkinson County, which is the 155th county I've visited in Georgia.
After that is a visit to Southern Forest World, where I see Stuckie, the mummified dog! Stuckie was trapped in the cavity of a pine tree and discovered years later when the tree was logged.
Next is the small city of Nahunta, the county seat of Brantley County, my 156th county! Almost to 159 counties!
Finally, I visit Folkston, very near the Florida state line, where the big draw is watching trains go by!
Hey guys, I'm Emily. I have a passion for storytelling, video production and direction. Thanks so much for watching!

Southeast Georgia (FOLKSTON TO DARIEN)
In his first major domestic trip in nearly a decade, Brian travels to a forgotten corner of the American South. While parts of the region have long been a hotspot for springbreakers and ecotourists, the north of Florida and southeast of Georgia, have remained largely untouched by mass tourism. Brian discovers a region that has remained true to its Southern heritage, while at the same time breaking many of the region's stereotypes.
Brian's journey concludes in southeastern Georgia. After sampling some local cooking, Brian visits the Golden Isles, an archipelago rich in natural and cultural history, that has long been a playground for wealthy Southerners. But he quickly discovers that the islands aren't so welcoming to budget sight seers.
He leaves the Golden Isles, for a more traditional part of the state, where he tours a Southern plantation home, and visits a roadside ruin with a fascinating history, before ending his journey at the historic Fort King George.
