Durağan Gezilecek Yerler, Sinop Durağan Tanıtım, Durağan/Turkey Promotion Film
Sinop’a bağlı bir ilçe olan Durağan’ın kuzeyinde Dikmen ilçesi, batısında Boyabat ilçesi, güneybatısında Saraydüzü ilçesi, güneyinde Samsun iline bağlı Vezirköprü ilçesi ve doğusunda ise Samsun iline bağlı Alaçam ilçesi bulunmaktadır. Durağan ilçe merkezinin Sinop'a uzaklığı 120 Km'dir. İlçenin yüz ölçümü bazı kaynaklarda 910 km² bazı kaynaklarda ise 1034 km² olarak geçmektedir. Arazinin % 80'i dağlıktır. İlçe adını kasabada bulunan Durakhan’dan almaktadır. Bu han 1265 yılında Pervane oğulları zamanında yapılmıştır. Durağan, Osmanlı döneminde Kastamonu eyaletine bağlı iken, 1899’da yapılan yeni idari taksimata göre Boyabat ilçesine bağlı bir bucak/nahiye haline dönüştürülmüş ve 30 Mayıs 1954 tarihine kadar da Boyabat İlçesine bağlı kalmıştır. Durağan, 1 Haziran 1954 tarihinde ilçe haline getirildikten sonra 10 Mart 1955 tarihinde ilçenin belediye teşkilatı kurulmuştur. Durağan ilçesinin 2018 itibarıyla 5 mahallesi ve 70 köyü bulunmaktadır. Nüfusu ise 20 bin civarındadır.

Ağcaçal Mağarası Durağan ilçesi (İlçeye 25 km uzaklıktaki Cevizlibağ Köyünde yer alır.)
Buzluk Mağarası Durağan/SİNOP (Mağara ilçesinin 13 km kuzeyinde yer alır.)

Gökırmak Sosyal Tesisi (Cumhuriyet Mah. Durağan/Sinop),
Durağan Şehit Ömer Halisdemir Parkı,
Ambarkaya Kaya Mezarı Durağan,
Terelek Kaya Mezarı Durağan/Sinop,
Durağan İsmail Bey Cami, Küçükkozluca Köyü Cami, Durağan Yeşilyurt Köyü Cami, Buzluk Dağı. Kalfet Cami,
Durağan Yağbasan Türbesi (Türbenin içinde bir mezar bulunmaktadır. Türbe kitabesinde ise 4 kişinin ismi geçmektedir: Süleyman Bey, Hasan Bey ve kardeşleri Polat ve Kutluşah Beyler)
Sinan Dede Türbesi Sofular Mahallesi Durağan (İlçede ayrıca Yeşil Kent, Yeşilyurt ve Hacı Mahmutlu’da da türbeler bulunmaktadır.)

Day 50 of our new life as full time travelers // Recorded on Oct 25th 2021
Well, this was another crazy travel day! Things definitely started getting a little bit wilder as we headed East in Turkey! This Turkish bus experience is definitely one we tell our friends and family about :)
In today's video we are traveling from Sanliurfa to Mardin. We didn't record much because it was supposed to be a chill 3-hour bus ride, but as you will see in the video, it was not the case.
When we arrived to Mardin, we were shocked about how the outskirts of town looked like. A giant mall with American fast food chains, Starbucks, super hip people... We definitely didn't anticipate we would be eating delicious burgers at a place called Big Mama!! LOL

In this video we take a boat tour in one of Turkey's most famous destinations! Watch as we depart from the center of Bodrum and go on a full day boat tour of some of the most beautiful areas Bodrum has to offer. We go swimming in a few different spots including Black Island & Orak Island!
Unfortunately we didn't have the greatest experience in Bodrum, but we still wanted to share a video of what we did and saw on this tour with you guys.
