We visited several places in the state of Hidalgo including the very first Pueblo magico, Tolantongo, Tula and Real del Monte. Hidalgo Mexico.
Tula Ruins, Grutas Tolantongo, and Volcanos! Mexico City Road Trip 2023
Amelia and I went on a 1000 km road trip around Mexico City, Hidalgo, Puebla, and Morelos seeing tons of new landscapes and views that we had never before seen!
Mexico City had a lot of hustle and bustle was felt so safe and inviting the whole time we were there. The food was AMAZING and the subway system was so easy to use.
Mineral del Monte and Mineral del Chico were both such cute little mountain towns that were so chill and quaint. Never pass up the opportunity to get a piping hot Marquesita with Nutella and cream cheese there!
Las Grutas Tolantongo was a great day trip to go swim and soak and see some awesome mountains too!
Puebla, Cholula, Chalcatzingo, Tepoztlan, and Cuernavaca all had fun ruins and great cathedrals too!

Tepotzotlán Mexico 🇲🇽 Scenic Walk 2021 Vlog [4K]
The name Tepotzotlán is of Nahuatl origin and means among humpbacks, referring to the shape of the hills that surround this area. This picturesque town is only 45 minutes away from CDMX Mexico City, where the main attraction is the ex-Convent of San Francisco Javier, which houses the National Viceroyalty Museum.
In the center, Plaza Hidalgo has the National Viceroyalty Museum, which displays colonial art in a former Jesuit College. The baroque San Francisco Javier Temple forms part of the same complex. To the northwest, towering 18th-century aqueduct Arcos del Sitio has sweeping countryside views. After exploring artifacts from Mexico's colonial times, head to Plaza de las Artesanías and score some crafts to take back home.

So what is this place all about? In case you were wondering, this site does have a history. The history of the Arcos del Sitio Ecological Park, also known as the Xalpa Aqueduct or Arcos de Xalpa, is an architectural work built entirely of stone, which measures 430 meters long, made up of 43 arches on four levels that measure 62 meters at its highest point. for which it is considered the highest aqueduct in Mexico, so we are facing something that is the first of its kind. dating back to the early 18th century. When the Jesuit friars were in charge. It is said that the aqueduct was built with the labor of peasants and under the supervision of the Jesuits, all of them working for Don Manuel Romero de Terreros. originally their intention was to bring the water from el rio de oro, in the mount of the pinal, to the Xalpa farm, where this vital liquid was used mainly for agricultural irrigation and other tasks typical of this complex.
Due to the expulsion of the Jesuits, the construction had to stop in 1767, but after almost one hundred years, the project was resumed by Don Manuel Romero de Terreros and the construction was finally completed in 1854. According to some historical data, in Those years it was the highest aqueduct in the world and one of the most important hydraulic works of the 18th and 19th centuries.

the boats cost $60 pesos and you can share the cost since each boat has room for 4 people.
prices range from $60 pesos to $1,200 pesos (riding package with breakfast or lunch included).
the cost for camping is $80 pesos. You have to go to the ticket office and buy your ticket, they will indicate the area where you can camp.
I don't have the current costs or contact information, but when you come to the Arcos on the site you can ask, they are just below the food court!
The cost for the zip line alone is $100 pesos and for the zip line circuit I leave the information along with all the other costs in the link.

You can bring your pet if you wish too. I'm sure It’s going to have the fun of its life. The regulations for bringing pets are also in the description.

📅 April 25th, 2021 ▶️ In my second video of my Mexico 2021 trip, I will show you the beautiful towns of Bernal and Querétaro, both very close to Mexico City! Peña de Bernal is one of the pueblo magico and the rock that can usually be climbed. Due to Corona restrictions, the waiting time was too long though and we skipped it. Querétaro is much larger, but still has some cool spots to see like the Querétaro Aqueduct Los Arcos. The absolute highlight of my time there was spending the sunset at a private pool house of my Couchsurfing host! Had a blast checking out the Slow motion features of my new Action Camera 😆
