Tenemos que empezar esta historia, haciendo un llamado a la @unesco seguido de las autoridades #dominicanas como @miculturard @ambienterd y @presidenciard a trabajar de la mano para la conservación de esta #guacara
Vamos arriba y empecemos el recorrido: llegando a la penda en #lavega no topamos con esta curiosa e interesante tienda en el mismo centro de la autopista #duarte (vainas que se tienen que aplaudir en RD)
Seguimos rumbo a #jima la capital del arroz, el cual nos da una bienvenida de garzas y plantaciones de arroz a gran escala (ya se como atraer a las garzas)
Entre canales de riego y un sinnúmero de cuerpos de agua, doblamos hacia #hernandoalonzo un pueblito humilde pero escandaloso como el solo 😅 en el video escuchan a @rinconcitos.rd afirmandolo 😅
A tan solo 10 minutos, 4 km llegarás a lo que queda del pueblito de los #melaitos ya que dicho lugar fue mudado por la inundación de la presa de hatillo (ahora es que viene lo bueno)
De aquí en adelante son 2 dos horas de ida y vuelta a la #cuevadesanabe bordeando la presa y mucho monte y culebra (jjjj) pero no te preocupes ya hice el tracking del sendero para que no te pierdas (tienes que ver el video para que entiendas)
Con la lengua afuera y sudado como caballo, llegamos a la cueva 😵 ya en este lugar te encontrarás con un sinnúmero de #pictografías taínas y también algunos daños que causan los desaprensivos
La cueva de Sanabe tiene 141.62 m de boca a boca, es recomendable llevar linterna!! porque es totalmente oscura y ligeramente húmeda, hay bastante murcielaguina (por lo cual no recomiendo llevar nada que combustione) por la gran cantidad de guano, que es rico en fósforo y nitrógeno eso es (popo de murciélago) y hay bastante, imaginate las cuevas son su lugar favorito. y para finalizar nos fuimos para el río yuna
El Badén: debajo del puente que divide el pueblo de la mata con el pueblo de cotuí en la misma provincia Sánchez Ramírez, y es el lugar donde se acumula una gran muchedumbre para divertirse y refrescarse con las aguas del río Yuna.

Conoce la interesantísima ciudad de Cotuí, capital minera de la provincia Sánchez Ramírez, en la República Dominicana.
Situada al pie de la impresionante sierra de Yamasá, la ciudad de Cotuí debe su nombre al antiguo Cotuy o Cotoy, nombre taíno de la región situada alrededor del poblado ahora conocido como Pueblo Viejo, en las proximidades de Maimón.
Esta población de menos de 80.000 habitantes fue fundada en el año 1505 por Rodrigo Mejía de Trujillo, durante el gobierno de Nicolás de Ovando. Los padres jerónimos la convirtieron en centro de explotación minera en la segunda década del siglo XVI con el nombre de La Mejorada de Cotuí, conocida también como Los Mineros.
En el año 1533 Cotuí adquirió la categoría de villa y pasó a conocerse como La Mejorada Villa de Cotuí. Tras el fuerte terremoto de 1562 la localidad fue trasladada a su ubicación actual al norte de la sierra de Yamasá. Este lugar ofrece una serie de interesantísimos lugares de interés general y turístico que merece la pena visitar, algunos de los cuales son: la iglesia Inmaculada Concepción, la presa Hatillo, las Guácaras Taínas y Sierra Prieta.
La iglesia Inmaculada Concepción es una de las obras de interés y belleza arquitectónica más antigua del municipio de Cotuí, además de ser un lugar de gran importancia en el desarrollo de la localidad.

TOUR OF CARIBBEAN RAINFOREST SALTOS DE JIMA 4K DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
I got a chance to bring my family to this beautiful place in Dominican Republic called Saltos De Jima. It's located on the outskirts of Bonao City. Dominican Republic has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world like Bayahibe, Punta Cana and of course my favorite Saona Island.
Unfortunately what most people don't realize is that this beautiful island also has some of the most beautiful rainforest, countryside, farmland, and natural reserve parks in the Caribbean. Making it a perfect Island destination to enjoy amazing ecotourism.
In this video we tour this Caribbean rainforest. Saltos De Jima is a picturesque Natural Monument Park Reserve perfectly nestled between the mountains in the middle of Dominican Republics Rainforest. It's about an hour and twenty minute drive from the capital city of Santo Domingo and about an hour drive from Santiago De Los Caballeros.
Saltos De Jima is a hikers dream, filled with swimming holes and perfect waterfalls. If you visit Dominican Republic, Saltos De Jima should be on your list of places to visit. Coming here has made our vacation in the Dominican Republic a great experience. This is my new favorite place, and in the future when we visit DR we have to make sure and stop by Saltos De Jima again. Hopefully, you enjoy this video!
