Robore, Santa Cruz Hidden Paradise (Travel Guide)

Robore, is an overlooked town two hours from the Brazilian border for no other reason than a lack of general knowledge and overall a lack of government involvement in improving national parks and tourism infrastructure.

This place could be a worldwide tourist spot for recreational activities, especially for climbers all over the world. Like Zion national park in Utah, USA (if you don't know about Zion go look at it after you watch this video).

This is old footage that I just had the opportunity to edit, not being able to record it properly I did my best in scratching the surface of this hidden gem. Hope you guys like it, please live a like and share it with your friends.

MARKETS in SANTA CRUZ, Bolivia

When we were in Santa Cruz, we explored some of the markets! We spent an afternoon walking around and having lunch at the Seven Street market when we visited the plaza and church. I was really impressed with the huge shoe section- I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many shoes in one spot! We also went to two other markets looking for outdoor chairs and tables. We had so many big family meals and we always needed more chairs and table space! I was also amazed by the sheer amount of products at the hardware market. I wanted to see what a grocery store was like and what different products they had. There are more markets than even we got to and I look forward to exploring them on our next trip. We hope you enjoy this little glimpse into the markets in Santa Cruz, Bolivia! 🇧🇴

Santa Cruz, Bolivia. 4K Walk

Santa Cruz is a city in east-central Bolivia. It is located in the hot tropical lowlands at 1,365 feet (416 m) above sea level.

It was founded in 1561 by Spaniards from Paraguay on the site of present-day San José de Chiquitos, but was repeatedly attacked by Indians until 1595, when it was relocated to its present site on the Pire River and renamed Santa Cruz de la Sierra In 1811 the inhabitants declared their independence from Spain. It was only temporarily recaptured by Royalist forces after the declaration of independence from Spain, and in 1950 the highway to Cochabamba was completed. The railroads serve Brazil, Argentina, and southern Bolivia, and the city's international airport is the busiest in Bolivia.

Santa Cruz is the largest city in Bolivia. It is a huge city located in the middle of the tropical lowlands.

Despite its size, the city is not very popular among foreign tourists. There are many reasons for this, but the most common is its location.

It is located in the eastern part of Bolivia, close to the border with Brazil, and slightly off the route through Bolivia - La Paz, Potosí and Uyuni.

Santa Cruz is home to several educational institutions, including the Autonomous University Gabriel René Moreno (1879). There are also museums and art galleries of natural history and ethnography. In addition, about 60 miles (100 km) southwest of Santa Cruz is Samaypata, a pre-Columbian site that was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1998. Population (2001) 1,113,582; (preliminary 2010) 1,616,100.

This modern city is growing rapidly and feels like a city in transition: new restaurants, bars, apartment complexes and stores are everywhere, as well as a thriving local nightlife scene.

In the old narrow streets of downtown, cabs and horse-drawn carriages compete with each other for a ride. In the square, old men doze over chicha (an alcoholic corn drink) and teenagers play loud music.

Santa Crucenio is home to people from different periods of Bolivian history, from Russian immigrants to the Japanese community.

Unstoppable Santa Cruz Bolivia Close Up - Bolivia Tourism

The state of Santa Cruz occupies almost the entire Eastern and Southeastern third of Bolivia and is the largest of the country's nine states. Its capital city, Santa Cruz de la Sierra, has grown from a tiny town to being the largest city in Bolivia, in under 40 years. Santa Cruz is Bolivia's economic engine, generating nearly 40% of Bolivia's gross national product, and produces nearly 70% of Bolivia's food.

But it wasn't always this way. While in the 1700's Potosí, Bolivia was the most populous city in the Americas, one hundred years later, in 1810, Santa Cruz was still a tiny frontier town of just 3500 people. Until the 1940's, the only means of communication between La Paz and Santa Cruz was by telegraph and short wave radio. The first paved road to connect Santa Cruz with the rest of the country, wasn't constructed until 1956! So how did Santa Cruz go from being a vast, empty region to the fastest-growing, most dynamic region in Bolivia, in under four decades?

Here you'll also find the Mayor's Office, City Council, and other government buildings, as well as a great many stores and souvenir shops, banks, and other centuries-old buildings. Inside the cathedral you can visit the Museum of Religious Art. Cine Palace, on the west side, is a great place to take in a movie.
