Metrobus Crawley Fastway 10 Full Route Visual- Gatwick Airport North Terminal to Bewbush
Hi! Here's a full route visual of the Fastway 10, which runs from Gatwick Airport North Terminal to Bewbush, Dorsten Square via Gatwick Airport South Terminal, City Place, Manor Royal, London Road, Crawley Multiplex, Crawley Broadway, Crawley Bus Station, Southgate Park, Southgate Avenue, Broadfield Stadium, Broadfield Barton and Breezehurst Drive.
The 10 is a 24hr route, which runs every 10 minutes during the daytime, using Wright Eclipse 2 Volvo B7RLEs and Wright Eclipse 3 Volvo B8RLEs. There are a few guided busway sections along the route (which adds to its quirk in my opinion), such as at 1:26, 2:24 - though the driver chose to avoid this one and the final one at 2:30. Some say these are really pointless, which I guess is true, but I think they're really cool! I believe the 20 has longer stretches of busway but I may be wrong.
I love the 10, and I'm so happy to finally have a timelapse of it! ;)
Thanks for watching! :)

Crawley Walk: Town Centre【4K】
Located around 30 miles/48km south of central London, in the county of West Sussex, is the town of Crawley.
The name Crawley is believed to be derived from an old Saxon name from the 5th century - 'Crow's Leah', meaning a crow-infested clearing. In 1202 King John granted Crawley a market charter.
For several centuries it remained a very small town, registering a population of just 210 on the first census in 1801. Prior to this, Crawley had served as a coaching stop between London and Brighton for horse-drawn carriages. One such example of the architecture of this era can be seen just after the 1-minute mark on Crawley High Street. The George Hotel (now the Ramada Crawley Gatwick), dating back to the 15th century, was one of the country's most famous coaching inns in its heyday. The beam structure outside is a replica gallows.
The construction of a turnpike road between London and Brighton in 1770 allowed Crawley to prosper. The arrival of the railway would follow in 1841 in the form of the Brighton Main Line.
After the Second World War, Crawley was identified as a suitable location for a New Town, which was a programme to relocate those whose houses had been bombed during the Blitz. Hence as we see in the video, virtually everything outside of the High Street takes on a 20th century grid-like design. Queen's Square was opened in 1958 by The Queen herself. Crawley's population went from below 10,000 just after the war to over 100,000 today.
Legendary rock band The Cure formed in Crawley in 1978.

#1 U.K. Horley Riverside Garden Park close Gatwick Airport | Гуляем в парке
I decided to take a walk in a green park with a small lake between two flights in the U.K. Horley in spring time. I wanted to capture and show to you the nowadays lifestyle, streets, shops and people living there.
Решил прогуляться в парке по скромному городку в Англии, Харлей (городок возле Gatewick Airport) между двумя рейсами. Заснял поверхностно местную обстановку (магазины, улицы, парк, людей, без комментариев.)
The last time I ever saw the Tilgate Meerkats bus... 23/07/2022
Metrobus Omnicity 6553 (YN55 PWK) was painted into a special livery advertising Tilgate Nature Centre, with Meerkats on the side. Prior to being withdrawn in August, here it is at Gatwick departing on route 3, taken on the 23rd July 2022. This was the last time I ever saw it, and what a send off! The camera shots and angles just fit absolutely perfectly.

Transcript
The Ifield court at Gatwick is a thoroughly British country home. It’s only ten minutes from the Airport, but it’s plonked in acres upon acres of grounds. Let’s go have a look inside.
It might be a small hotel size wise, but from the oak panelling to the grandfather clocks, even the wooden hound standing guard. This hotel is certainly not small on character, there are only 27 rooms, but they’ve all been individually decorated. So you’re left with this feeling of quaint countryside charm.
Downstairs is the impressive yet comfy bar. It’s a central spot in the Ifield, it’s got one of the many original fireplaces in the hotel, that just begs to be cosied up in front of, with a selection from the wine list and reading a good book.
You’ll find a really good menu available in the restaurant, where the favourites are always in high demand. After all you can’t beat a good old fish and chips.
And that homely feel is ever present at breakfast too, there’s a continental buffet available and Full English is totally made to order.
Come flight time the hotel will arrange a taxi to take you the 10 minutes to the airport, The Ifield Court is just so utterly charming and such good value for money. It’s really no surprise that our customers come back here time and time again.

Metrobus route 100 leaves Park 25 | 22/02/2023
Here is off-route Metrobus Wright Streetlite 6114 (SK66 HTO). Branded for routes 2, 4 & 5, this was seen on the Fastway 100, leaving Redhill's Park 25 for Maidenbower, on Wednesday 22nd February 2023.
6953's 5th day back in service 24/09/2022
In 2008, Metrobus ordered two double deck omnicitys for Gatwick Direct route 200 (Gatwick Airport - Horsham) numbered 953-954. However, they often appeared on other services. In 2015, they were renumbered to 6953-6954 with the renumbering scheme. They were later painted into the new Metrobus livery a few years later. Nowadays, they bearly go on route 200, and operate routes that CN270UD Omnicitys run on. In June 2022, 6953 (YN08 OBP) was taken out of service for some reason, and was for a long time. 6633 (YN08 DFZ) is doing the same for some reason, and has been out of service since July. I plan to catch it on its first day back, providing it runs to Redhill (Which it should on route 100). Shown here is 6953's fifth day back in service, on route 460 at Horley, Lumley Road. I had a ride on it from Gatwick South Terminal.
