1. Swayambhunath is an ancient (about 5th century) Buddhist temple complex on a hill in Kathmandu . Also known as Monkey Temple.
2. Boudhanath stupa is one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world, the holiest Tibetan Buddhist temple outside Tibet.
3. Pashupatinath is an ancient Hindu temple in the Kathmandu valley (5th century), considered the most sacred Shiva temple.
4. Changu Narayan is a Hindu temple, possibly the oldest temple of Nepal (4th century).

While hiking from Srikhola to Samanden, you come across some of the beautiful Himalayan villages. The remote places are so beautiful that you might plan to stay here permanently. The weather, beautiful landscapes, amazing people, the pine forest, the hiking trail, the tea house, and many more make this place a must-visit and something to add to your bucket list. From Srikhola we have a jeep track halfway till we reach Ramam which is a gradual climb and then followed by ups and downs till we reached Samanden. Samanden is a beautiful village and is one of the last villages in India. Also, when you are here, you definitely need to try the super hot Dalley Kursani.

The Nayakpada Cave is located at a distance of 12 kms from Boudh town. This cave was said to have been associated with mythology. Once upon a time this cave was theashram of saddhus. The forest here is richin different types of flora and fauna. . According to a narration in MadalaPanji and some historical evidences, during the reign of Emperor SovanDev the Jabana king Raktabahu had attacked ShrikhetraPuri. With an apprehension of damage to deity Sri Jagannath the powerful Bhanja ruler of Oddradesha (present boudh area) who believed in Vaishnavism and worshipped Lord Nilamadhaba at Gandharadi, took away the deities to Dhritipura under their domain. As they believed Sri Jagannath (Purushottam) as Parama Vishnu and undergrounded (Patali) the deities near Gopali village, twelve miles from their capital. The then Gopali village known as Gopalpur situated adjoining to south part of this Naikpada cave.
