The resort is located at Lalakhal, in the north-east corner of Bangladesh, nestled at the base of the Jaintia Hills of the Indian State of Meghalaya, the last foothills of the mighty Himalayas. It is about 43 km away from the Sylhet Airport.
I have been there for three times in last couple of years. In my last visit I thought, since I love videography, lets do a review and travel vlog on Nazimgarh Wilderness Resort to share my experiences to others. It was a great experience indeed. We enjoyed each and every moment of staying at Nazimgarh Wilderness Resort. It was an excellent, amazing, wonderful and unforgettable experience. The food was delicious with enough quantity and with excellent quality and taste. The other services and behavior of the staffs were also excellent. The staffs were very friendly, polite and cordial. The boat ride in the Sari River also known as Lala Khal was rememberable. I wish all the best to The Nazimgarh Wilderness Resort.
Photography and travel videography are my hobbies. I have done this review from personal hobby, it’s my pleasure if it helps anyone. There is no commercial purpose and connection. Thank you.

Nazimgarh Wilderness Resorts, Luxurious Resorts in Sylhet, Bangladesh; Best Resorts in Bangladesh
'Wilderness' is possibly one of the most unique tropical resorts anywhere. It is located at Lalakhal, in the north-east corner of Bangladesh, nestled at the base of the Jaintia Hills of the Indian State of Meghalaya, the last foothills of the mighty Himalayas. Lalakhal was once a part of the ancient Jaintia (Khasi) Kingdom of Jaintiapur, a portion of which, today, is Jaintiapur Upazila.
The resort is in a spectacular location where a gushing mountain river with emerald green water, lush green forests, blue skies and cloud-adorned mountains all come together. One gets panoramic views of mountains, river, hills, and forests stretching as far as one's eyes can see. Considering that Cherrapunji, one of the highest rainfall areas of the world, is a mere fifty aerial miles away, Lalakhal is a spectacular sight, particularly during the monsoons. Countless shades of green, yellow and brown from the trees, forests and paddy fields mesmerize the visitor. The monsoon rains are an experience rarely found anywhere else in the world. 'Wilderness' rests at the center of all this beauty. The privacy, tranquility and the sheer quietness, where the only sounds you are likely to hear are the calls of the birds and the sound of silence make 'Wilderness' not just a resort, but a sanctuary.
The resort is spread over several closely grouped buildings and is centered around a blue infinity edge swimming pool and wooden pool deck. The surrounding hills and valleys are landscaped with fruit trees and flower gardens and are home to a variety of tropical birds. Walking and trekking trails, outdoor sitting areas, observation lounges, and large water ponds give guests a sense of serenity in the truest sense.
'Wilderness' is approximately 45 kilometers from Sylhet City. One has to take the National Sylhet-Tamabil (N2) Highway to Shareeghat (38 km) and then it's just another 7 km to Lalakhal. (Sylhet Airport is an additional 15 km from the city.) One can also take a mechanized boat from Shareeghat, The cruise up the river takes between 20 and 40 minutes, depending on the type of vessel and the season.
